War on cyber world (India-Pakistan)

Since the launch of the undeclared air war between India and Pakistan, the incidents of cyber attacks between the two countries have been increasing. Experts have been warning of ongoing cyber conflict between the two countries for a long time. In the two countries, the presence of good quality hackers is dragging towards long online warfare.

A CNBC report said that the long-standing conflict between India and Pakistan reached the state of extreme tension this week. After the air strikes in militant bases that crossed the Pakistan Line of Control in Pakistan, Pakistan has also been given a response.

In addition to conventional military tactics, both countries have nuclear capabilities. For two decades, two countries were seen to be involved in online fighting and hacking incriminating one another.

Russia, China and North Korea dominate the cyber attack in the cyber world. But there is an example of running a special hacking program by the government sponsored government of India and Pakistan. The use of technology-efficient workers and hacking tools can be seen in both countries.

In 1998, Pakistani hackers launched a successful attack on India's Atomic Research Center. Pakistan has launched several successful hacking activities in India since 1990. Hacking is considered ideologically compared to cyber attacks. Many times, popular government or media websites are occupied and there are insulting messages. Apart from this, many messages have been circulated to disrupt the opponent.

According to Zurich Center for Security Studies, after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008, the hackers of India and Pakistan are involved in cyber fighting. Pakistani hackers take control of some of India's websites. In contrast, hackers in India also hack some of Pakistan's websites. In 2010, Pakistani hackers deleted data from India's Central Bureau of Investigation. Before the possible attacks, the fight between the two countries of the cyber world was spread first among the hackers.

According to the information provided by the cyber firm Proof Point, malware created by Pakistan is spread over many fake blogs and news sites, which can activate webcams, e-mails, and personal information. In addition, the attacker can send screenshots of personal computer information. According to another cyber firm Crowdstore data, special Android surveillance technology created by Indian hackers is hidden in various mobile phone systems.

Most of the people of India and Pakistan have the tendency to use Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp. It is particularly noticeable that spreading false messages and creating conflict by using WhatsApp. There have been several incidents of fake messages and rumors circulating in India using WhatsApp last year. Some people died in this.

Facebook's former chief security officer Alex Stamos said in a tweet that for several years India and Pakistan have consistently been involved in cyber and information attacks against each other. This topic has not been discussed too much.

Stamos said this is a situation where the unsteady low-level invisible battles have become the cause of instability.

As the tension between India and Pakistan is growing now, there are several suggestions to reduce the tension on behalf of the media of the two countries. These are being shared on social networking websites. One of these suggestions is that - forwarding a message or message. If someone receives similar messages from multiple sources or someone, then it is necessary to check whether it is hos or fake. It is not right to spread or believe any false news about tensions.
